DAMNED! THIS IS SO AMAZING!!! Wow, God, thanks for this artist. I have no words for that, this is so great! The colors, the forms :O ... I love it totally. It's a fantasric inspiration for my story. Maybe the future cover of my book?! =)

You should know, in my story there's a kind of divine compass (it's not like The Golden Compass by Philip Pullman :-P), more a pattern that looks very similar to your fractal compass ^^ but the difference: at mine there are SEVEN main strings, and yours four. =( So I have a small request for you (if you don't mind): Could you perhaps make a remake of the compass for me (as said: only if you don't mind a you have time)with seven main strings. I would be very much pleased =)

I would love to, but I can't :blushes: the formula I used creates a "4 spiked star", and I honestly have no idea about how to get seven strings :worry: If I'll find a way (keep in mind that I'm quite a beginner, maybe there's a method I still don't know) I'll surely try and inform you ;)!

it was a general-tent-julia formula ;)
the main "shape" is a perfect cross... changing variables or other parameters doesn't seem to modify it, just minor details :shrug:
