I wasn't used anymore to work again with an horizontal layout yes, it's a tweak of my "crystal rose" and "seasonal whispers" fractals based on ~skellorg's tutorial.

this is by far the most beautiful flower i have ever seen. I love the design and the color scheme. The way all the lines and shapes came together is wonderful. I love the 3D effect as well. Just By this picture I can really see why the title says :The Scent of the Night". Great job and if anyone thinks that this is a bad picture tell them to come to me cause this is amazing and I would really love to have this picture in my art gallery. Your a very talented artist and keep up the good work.
This is a really neat art piece. It has a realistic feel, but at the same time it feels unrealistic. Like a flower put into a dreamy world.
That's what the flower reminds me of- a dream, a fairy tale. The sparkly wisps and the soft glow of the inside of the flower really create this fairy tale-esque feel.
I love the different "layers" of the flower. It adds depth. Detail. It creates the feeling that the flower is a very large object in the world. Like a spiraling tower, full of wonder.
There's something almost poetic about the art. I think the wispy lights and calm feeling add to it's poetic feel. I personally hate poetry, I can never understand what it's supposed to mean! However I think I have an idea of the art's "story". I imagine something a bit like Alice in Wonderland, full of wonder, mystery, but yet still familiar to our own reality.
I think the artist crafted the flower very well. I love the lighting on the flower, it really paints a picture on how bright the flower's inner light is. I find it very detailed, each one of the petals unique, and thus creating a more believable flower.
One thing I really dig about the art is how it was put together; things seem to get "softer" or less clear the further from the center of the flower you get, almost like a depth of field effect. The wispy lights appear almost as if underwater on the lower petals, again creating a dreamy feel.
I have two main complaints. The first: the watermark. I understand why watermarks are put into place, but they always seem to ruin the atmosphere of the art a bit. It's like watching a TV show that really moves you, and the big loud commercials come on- they completely ruin the mood.
The second complaint is the background. The background leaves a lot to be desired, in fact, (and I mean complete respect to the artist) I find the background to be almost boring. I would loved to have seen a reflection, or more of the flower, or at least a bit more color variation than just black. This is just my opinion, and it could be argued that the background keeps the focus on the flower. I just prefer to have more detailed backgrounds.
Aside from those complaints, the flower is spectacular! I really love how the artist really keeps your attention at the center of the flower, while still not losing too much detail on the rest of the flower. Excellent job!
