Hello. I picked this creation out the FractalDream gallery. I enjoy the soft and deceptively simple look of this fractal a lot, not to mention the deep blue and purple colours. Its indeed hard to believe this is actually a fractal. Watching it has a soothing effect on me. Well done
Pleased to meet you, lindelokse. After I read your reply I briefly went viewing your gallery again (I'm sorry I've not more time right now...) and I can tell simply by looking, that you work very hard on your fractals. I'm happy that me picking this fractal is important for you too - like a confirmation. And we do all need confirmation, don't we Its always amazing visiting a gallery like yours. I wonder how long you've been working on fractals. Me, 2 months But I try to work hard and thoughtful.
so kind of of you to say so what you said is exactly what every artist-designer-fractalist-worker would love to hear about her creations, so I'm really grateful and honored I'm into fractal art for one year, at the moment I started in late 2008 with apophysis, and in april 2009 with UF so I still consider myself a beginner, but I found so many kind people here who helped me to understand the software and I'm trying to develop my very own style flowers seem to be my best ones I see there are many interesting fractals in your gallery, mine after two months were still random fluffy stuff so keep on fractaling, I'm sure you will do great !
Hello. We understand each other well, then ! I'm gathering the impression I'm meeting a new friend on DA... its nice getting to know you ! It *is* nice you found people who gave you advice on using your fractal programs ! I'm slowly, every so slowly starting to understand the principles behind Fractal Explorer. I like the patience involved in trying all the combinations and achieving maximum results. In this sense, creating fractals for me is also the development of a virtue : patience.
It requires patience for sure and a lot of application to manage to be able to get what you have in mind I still have some problems to keep an idea and develop it, usually I get a completely different result from the idea I started with Unluckily I can't help you with fractal explorer I tried it and I failed, there are very few tutorials for it and I find it hard to learn but if you need some tips and help with apophysis or ultrafractal don't hesitate to ask !
Hello Lindelokse. You've been sending me nice messages. I'm sorry I take some time answering them, I've been flooded with work. You know, I was working at little bit on Fractal Explorer just now, and for me there is not yet the start of an idea. I find a basic design that I like trough searching and random combining. Then, when I have a basic design that I like, I try to explore every single variation and transformation of it. Inevitably, at one time I get distracted by something that pleases me and I off my main path, ending at a very different place where I started. It's part of the charm of creating fractals ! But for more, working on fractals is a work of very patient research into possibilities.
Thank you very much for the proposed help on apophysis and ultrafractal ! I think I might eventually need it, so I'm grateful
I love your Lady of the Lake fractal, and what helped me draw my attention is that I also have a Lady of the Lake deviation on my page. Its a poem with a strong mythological and erotic undertone. If you'd like to take a glance, you can find it here : [link] Hope you're having a good day
hey no worries, I've been quite busy too, lately ! So you're a follower of random evolutions as I am that's nice! I suppose a high percentage of fractal artists is, especially the most experimental ones I'm surely gonna read your poem right now I'm really curious, I rarely read literary works in english here, so it's pretty interesting for me !!! Maybe I will find some similiarities between your words and my picture have a nice day too !
