Gaius Valerius Catullus, Carme 51
Latin version of Sappho 31... the most beautiful and famous words ever written about jealousy. This has somehow inspired me while making this, since I was listening to [link] and led me to add the red strokes

Every time I look at this fractal, i can't shake the thought that someone put a little lipstick on it. Using that shade of red in a fractal in not easy but it really works here. Even the parts where it fades into the background color look neither garish nor muddied. Very well done!
The one thing I think is out of place in this piece is the upper left-hand corner, specifically that little segment of purplish brown. The transition between it and the green next to it is way too sudden and the colors clash. It might be hard to turn that bit green, but I think you could probably do it with creative masking.
But overall that is a small thing in a very well done fractal! I know you are mostly "famous" for your apo stuff, but you should dabble in UF more imho, even if you are just tweaking.
